Whenever I think of Ombre, I think of people saying OLE OLE OLE OLE! So whenever I say ombre I secretly say OMBRE, OMBRE OMBRE OMBRE!
Anyways, We have some ombre nail arts for you all today!

Julep - Candace Swatch

Hi there everybun!
Happy, Happy Friday!

I have a wonderful fall-ish swatch for you today and that would be Julep - Candace which I received in my September It Girl Maven box.

This is 2 coats with Seche top Coat. Candace is a lovely golden shimmer with a black base. She's GORGEOUS! I loved her so much I wore her for a few hours but HAD to add some pizzazz with some nail arts..

From left to right, I sponged black from tip to cuticle, used a migi nail art pen for the drippy look, sponged Wet n Wild - Deadly Dose from cuticle to tip and on my pinky is two coats of ILNP - All Gold Everything

Still feelin' summer!

Hello everybun!

I'm back with teh nets and teh postings!
Despite all of this happy there is still some sad BECAUSE ITS SO FREAKIN HOT! It was in the 90's on Monday and it's still in the upper 80's today. Isn't it supposed to be feelin' like fall?!
Since I'm still feeling so summery I decided to make a bright mani to reflect all of these summer vibes!

Lefty

Righty

I was actually just sort of experimenting designs over my right hand but I liked the way they looked so much that I decided to do the same on my left!
I am NOT with my polishes right now so I'm still not sure of color specifics.
The black and white designs were done with black and white migi nail art pens.

I have some more fall-esque nail designs coming up to try to get me in the fall mood!

Hello everybun!
I just got my first Nail Art Society box, which is a subscription box that has just relaunched there site due to an influx of a ton of new customers. They're $9.95 a month plus $4.95 shipping. There kits provide lots of nail art stuff, polish and ideas for creating nail art so of course I signed up right away cause' that's just my cup of tea!

And here is everything I recieved!

And here is everything I've actually recieved that involves nail art ! The other papers and pamphlets are just ideas and stuff that I can't actually use on my nails.
Here I have 4 Orly Instant Artist Water Based polishes (In black, white, blue and silver) and 2 water decal packs.

I'll definitely be trying these out and letting you all know how the polishes work.
Are any of you subscribed to any Nail related subscription services? I love discovering new things!

(Speaking of trying new things, I discovered this box from this lovely blog that reviews all of the latest Subscription services. Check her out and maybe you'll find a box you'll love! I know I've found many just from her blog!)

Liebster Award

I was so happy to see that I was nominated for my first Liebster Award! Thank you so much to Drenched in Lacquer. She's a brand new blogger so go check her out, she's very interesting and lovely!

Rules:
  1. You must link back to the blogger who nominated you.
  2. Answer the 11 questions given to you by the blogger who nominated you.
  3. Nominate 11 other bloggers with less than 200 followers.
  4. Go to the blogs you nominated and notify them of your nomination.
  5. Give your nominees 11 questions to answer.
My Questions from Patrycja:
    1. If you had to paint your nails only one color for the rest of your life, what color would it be? Oh man, that would be a hard one. I'm assuming that you could wear different shades of it. I think it'd have to be purple. There's so many different shades of purple!
    2. Why did you start blogging?
I JUST got a new camera and had been following a few nail polish blogs for a while and decided, why not? I was really inspired by them and had already been doing nail art for the past year so I figured it would be cool to share what I do.
    3. What is one thing that most people might not know about you?
I'm not sure if I've said this before but just in case I'll give you all 2 things.
      *I have a total of 18 piercings
**I have really bad anaphylactic reactions that causes me to carry an EpiPen where ever I go. I've been extensively tested and they have no idea what causes them.
    4. Where do you see yourself 10 years from now?
It's hard to think that far ahead but I see myself in some sort of career. I'm not exactly sure what yet!
    5. Do you speak any languages aside from English?
Si. Yo hablo espanol. I speak spanish! Not only have I taken spanish for 7 years, I am always constantly surrounded by the spanish language at home.
    6. What is your favorite book & movie?
My favorite Book has and always will be Captain Cat joins the Army and my favorite movie is Grease.
    7. What was/is your favorite subject in school?
Art! It has always been art. English comes in the closest of second.
    8. What accomplishment are you most proud of?
There are SO many. Graduating High School (Class of 2012, woot!), Dancing in pow wows, starting college, having a 4.0 gpa, starting my nail polish shop. There has been a lot!
    9. Are you open to trying new foods?
Oh yes definitely! I just had gator for the first time at the State Fair a few days ago. I've had tons of odd foods like pigs feet and tripe and chicken feet.
    10. Where would you love to travel to?
I've always dreamed of going to the U.K. I have no idea why the U.K has always fascinated me but it has!
    11. What did you want to be when you were little? Has this changed over the years?
My dad was a service tech and I thought that was so cool so I'd always write Service Tech into the little things that would ask what you want to be when you grow up. I definitely changed my mind and now I have no idea what I want to do.
Thank you so much for the nomination Patrycja!

    Leesha's Lacquer - The Sk80's

    Hey Everybun!

I totally missed Sunday Bunday again with a very good excuse! College!
So I didn't have much time for nail art but I did have this sitting in my unposted folder from last Monday!

This is 2 coats of The Sk80's over Black with Seche top coat.
And what may be that weird brown stuff on my hand?
    Henna!

So What is Henna Anyways? <- Clicky click on that link and all your answers and more will be answered. And there was no particular reason for this henna by the way. I just do it every once in a while because I love it and I love the history of it and culture behind it. I, of course, integrated a bit of my culture as well . Being Ojibwe, there's an awful lot of flower patterns and designs in beadwork and such so of course I based my design off of flowers as you see above!
My design lasted a week on the top and the stuff on my palm is still kickin. I suspect it didn't last as long because I forgot to put a little vial of essential oil in my powder. Oh well, hope you enjoyed my henna design and my polish, and I'll see you all Wednesday with some lovelies that I plan to make for the shop!
